To start off, my name is Jamie Turpin and I live with my significant other at a lakefront house in Kansas City, MO.
In 2012, while I kept in focus on completing my MA degree from SCAD during the summer term we were packing up our downtown loft to move into our new lakefront house. As I continued to keep on track with my personal goals – in the Fall I received my acceptance letter into the MFA program at SCAD, said good-bye to my creative coworkers as I tightened up my design backpack of 10 years, confidently leaped into the world of freelance and received a contract to teach at the Kansas City Art Institute.
In my opinion, I have fair – good experience designing in the virtual and interactive environments. I’ve created over a dozen of websites for clients that I would write home about. Program of choice – Dreamweaver.
Currently, I'm working on a responsive website for a nonprofit organization, it should be live and complete this Friday, January 11. Coming early February, I will have a website complete for author, Brandon Tietz. His latest book will be released around this time as well. Look for
Charles Eames, I have 9 of his original chairs. I'm the 2nd owner of a 1952 Molded Plywood Chair.
Sketching in my moleskine, kicking butt at Bootcamp and enjoying a nice cocktail with friends.
Not working a professional job, living off of freelance and teaching part time. Plus working on my MFA degree. Last, I recently bought a kayak and plan to try it out this spring once it warms up in the Midwest.
