Monkey Death Sketch Machine is a self-depricating portfolio site. It was awarded First Place in SCAD's 2006 Intelechy Showcase for Best Interactive Portfiolio. The goal of this website was to display my work while giving the interface a very creepy/funny theme. All caricatures are of myself.
WARNING! Not for the weak of heart!.

Lumps
A (nautious) puzzle-game. Awarded First Place in SCAD's 2007 Intelechy Showcase for Best Game Prototype. I design this game with the idea of forcing the player to adapt to the environment. The control scheme is relative to the boards orientation (i.e. if the board rotates left 90 degrees, hitting the up arrow moves the player's cursor left, while hitting right arrow moves the cursor up). The severity of the tricks played during the game are based on the player's current score. If you want to see more dirtier tricks, then you have to get a higher score :)

Life|Time

A time-based room escape game. I shot for simplicity in art and design with this game. The premise is that the player is trapped in a room filling with poisonous gas and has 3 minutes to escape. As time passes, the room slowly turns blood red and the player's "vision" becomes jittery.

Afflicted (WIP)
Afflicted is the successor to Lumps; it was made with ActionScript 3.0 (no keyframes), runs faster and features more dirty tricks to mess with the player. It will be an online casual flash game with a scoreboard for players to compete against each other. Most of the bugs found in Lumps have been corrected in Afflicted.
***Please note that Afflicted is still under development. Winning and losing conditions have yet to be implemented. The art assets are not finalized and the menus have yet to be made.
