Long time -> GAO time!

Work is the bane of all time!

That out of the way the final preparations for GAO are almost complete.

Fist things first, the names have been solidified:
Pelees - Breedo - Birds - Air
Oongaka - Calvans - Cows - Earth
Engele - Pizens - Fish - Water
Tyrnia - Drashifs - Dragons - Fire
What I hope to achieve with these is a diverse character selection, not only do people get a choice what their character is going to look like, but a different region to start from. Choice is a big part of an MMO and it's one that women like a lot. One choice over another, customizing the character making it their own.
Each race has a different attribute also that appeals to women
The Breedo appeal to the women who like the "bishonen" (Pretty boy) / Bishojo (Pretty Girl) types. They are thinner more delicate character. There purely for looks alone.
The Calvans are for the women that like a more realistic type, they are a heavier model thus the women are not twig thin and the men have some muscles on their skeleton. This was a point some people pointed out, that they either liked or didn't like models based on their interests.
The Pizens are for types that like a more child look, a younger look if you will like the characters from FlyFF or Monato Espirit. The ones that want a "fun" character.
The Drashifs are for the women that like a "cool" character or a"wild" character. A bit between a Breedo type and a Calvan type. More of a standard human frame from the rest of the models.

Also, going back over my main point of my thesis, the characters are going to be the main focus. I had planned to model out monsters and towns and areas, however those are a real be part of the point. ALL MMOs have monsters of some type (except for that one 'no combat' MMO that went by the wayside). Thus monsters were not mentioned in the surveys done. Also, locations were mentioned much other than in general style with the characters. The towns no matter how big or small really bore no response. The bigger the town or the smaller the town it made no difference. Thus only doing a simple town setting should be enough to just have a character move around in. The core is the characters themselves, what they were wearing and how customizable they were and how different they looked from others.

The job clothing has changed a bit. I'll have to go over what the old ones were and upgrade them to the new. The jobs haven't changed and the over all plot of GAO hasn't changed. Then again the plot isn't that much important in the big scheme of things, it only effects the characters type and the jobs available.
