Encounter

I feel God in my everyday life. My closeness with Him is cyclical or tidal. It ebbs and flows, growing stronger at times and weakening at others. The images in this body of work are spiritual metaphors intended to flow from one to the next in this same rhythmic nature.

My hope is that viewers will question their own spirituality and experience the peace that comes from knowing God. My desire for these photographs is similar to that which David Crowder expressed in a simple poem.

I'm trying to make you feel
That this is for real
That life is happening
That it means everything
I'm just trying to make you sing
