Hourly Comic Day 2/1/2006

HOURLY COMIC DAYhello! on february first myself and some other, actually talented comickers are going to make a journal comic for every hour we are awake! it is an interesting alternative to the daily journal comic, and the more people we get to do it, the more interesting it gets!
we will see how different people actually spend their day. some people will make beautiful comics, some ugly. some boring, some exciting. either way, there will be a lot of comics, and a lot of peeking into other people's lives.
THE GUIDELINES:
-for every hour that you are awake on february first (that's february first for whatever time zone you happen to be in), you make a comic describing something about the past hour. maybe you ate some cereal? maybe you used the restroom?
-say you wake up at 7am. make a comic some time before it becomes 8am! then after 8am, make a comic before it becomes 9am! it is pretty simple.

"I decided to just work straight with my brush pen and go as fast as I could, because otherwise I'd spend waaaaaay too much time on each comic (I'm a terrible stickler in my drawings). As a result, you can see a few places where I screwed up, and my lettering might not be too clear. Here's what they say. "

	12:43 1/(Reading Wimbledon Green) I don't like this as much as It's a Good Life, If You Don't Weaken...but man does it make me want to draw comics. 2/Too bad I have to start my homework now. 3/But I procrastinate another half hour!
	1:54 1/Oh! Here's my prom pictures! (Laura) (Laura came up to hang out.) 2/Uh oh! It's almost 2! I better keep better track of time today... Also, use my brush pen to draw instead of a pencil.
	2:34 1/(I finally start my homework.) 2/Eh...good enough. I'll do more tomorrow.
	7:38 1/(Spend 40 minutes lying in bed before I get up.) 2/(Thank god my roommate spent the night at a friend's.) I wonder if I should've drawn a comic for when I woke up, looked at the time, and went back to sleep.
	8:29 1/Wish I had Wimbledon Green to read now... 2/The art on these last few comics is pretty bad.
	9:42 1/Can I borrow your eraser? Sure, go ahead. Thanks. 2/She's pretty cute.
	10:41am 1/(Still in drawing class.) Silverpoint is really boring. 2/Oh no! I'm out of coke! I need my caffeine...
	11:54am 1/Man, why can't you sit somewhere else? There's plenty of seats. 2/Come on! At least get out of the way so I can leave! (But he didn't.)
	12:40pm 1/(Dicking around on the internet...) (The internet is down in my room so I have to sit in the lobby.) 2/(I feel guilty because I haven't drawn my Crown Commission jam panel yet.) Yikes, I need to finish that... (Then I upload my hourly comics! (first batch)) SFX: type type
	1:47 1/Screw this, I'm going to eat. 2/Hmm...sandwich or bacon cheeseburger? (I choose bacon cheeseburger.) 3/Drawing while eating is hard.
	2:53 1/(Going to the atm because I'm out of cash...) 2/I keep sitting cute girls around...
	4:23 1/(What was supposed to be a quick half hour nap...) 2/(Stretched to an hour and 15 minutes!) SFX: BREET BREET BREET
	5:32 1/(Just met with the SCAD Bursar.) 2/(I'm in a bit of a spot this quarter...) 3/(Hopefully I can raise enough money to pay all my bills in time.)
	6:32 1/(Ran into Alex on the way back.) Wanna go eat? 2/(At Cafe SCAD, they have fried chicken and a SUNDAE BAR.) 3/(Now I am going to get ice cream. Hopeful verdict: DELICIOUS.)
	7:40 1/(After eating, me and Alex debate whether Firefly is better than Star Wars.) Firefly has all my favorite parts of Star Wars, ie Han Solo, and none of the crappy parts, ie, Luke Skywalkers. 2/(Then me, him, and Laura talk about our favorite fictional language.) Klingon! Elvish! Hmm...I'm not sure... 3/(We are unrepentant nerds.)
	8:41 1/(Watching Serenity.) 2/(And trying to scan these comics. It is hard.)

	11:33 1/Catching up on the hourly comics so far. 2/Oddly enough, my last hourly comic falls on the last page of my sketchbook. 3/This was fun. Scanning...not so much. 4/Thanks John Campbell!
