About me - Lauren Halbrooks

I am a 3rd-year visual communication (graphic design) student at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. I grew up in Roswell, a suburb about 30 minutes from Atlanta, Georgia. Some of my interests include music (I'm a violinist of 12 years), animals (I have two dogs, one of which is featured in the film on this layout!), nature, photography, art & design, crafts, and organization.

For my first two years of collegiate study I attended the beautiful Berry College in Rome, GA. There I took--along with general education courses and a communication foundation course--a black & white film photography class, a drawing 1 class, and a couple art history classes. At SCAD I've taken the rest of my art foundation classes (drawing 2, color theory, and history classes of my choosing: 20th century art and an architectural history class) and am now diving into my graphic design disipline. Although I don't have much design work to share yet, I hope you will enjoy viewing my foundation work!
