Resume
Resume

The first project we did in our CMPA class was create a Resume and Artist statement using Microsoft Word. At the same time, Project 2 was done as well. This project was to design a logo and a business card, thus completing the package a job seeker would present to a potential employer. The trick was to make sure all the pieces looked consistent in their presentation and style.

To download the full version of the Resume and/or the Artist Statement, simply click on either of the images above.

Resume

The second project we did was create a logo that and a business card to go with our Resume and Artist Statement as part of the package that would potentially go to employers.

Napoleon and I

This project was to use photoshop to merge together 6 different images and then put ourselves in it. After some initial image gathering on the web of a few ruined aqueducts, a pyramid, desert setting and some other images, I found that I was putting myself in an Egyptian setting with Napoleon and his men on horse and camel back. The hardest part of this project was making the colors and lighting as consistent as possible. What a fun project.

Maya

Maya close up

This project was my first real dive into 3D modeling and Maya. Maya was a little overwhelming at first, and still is, but I'm getting the hang of it and it's been a lot of fun working it. As an animation major, I can't wait to work more with it in the future.

When I started this project, I knew I wanted to do an "organic vs mechanical" type of theme. At the time of this project, TokyoPlastic had released a couple prints featuring mechanical flower devices that had an organic feel. These prints became the inspiration for this projects. In the end, my projects went through at least 3 major revisions before it became as it is now.
