Welcome to John e. thompson's thesis site

Who is John E. Thompson? I am an educator based in Northern Indiana and am also working on my M.F.A. in Interactive Design & Game Development at the Savannah College of Art & Design. I originally did not intend to be a teacher but, life being what it is, led me to this point and I found that I really enjoyed passing on my knowledge. Although I truly enjoy creating art and entertainment media, I feel I can make more of a positive impact by helping others learn these skills. As an educator I feel it is important to know as much as you possibly can, not only in the fields you teach, but in other disciplines and integrate it into the learning experience. It is through Interactive Design that I hope to not only contribute to the field but to also contribute to emerging technologies as a whole.
