Artist Bio.

Jennifer Alexander took her first photography class her freshman year in high school when she attended Durham School of The Arts in Durham, North Carolina. During her high school years she was very active in photography classes, as well as other outside activities including doing freelance photojournalism work for a special youth section of The Herald Sun Newspaper (run bi-monthy) called Under Contruction. During her senior year of high school, in addtion to working on Under Contruction, she also interned in The Herald Suns photography department and was able to take photographs for the paper. After high school, she attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro for a year, taking basic education classes while still doing some freelance photography for the Herald Sun, as well as some other non journalism freelance for-hire work. The following year Jenn transferred to Savannah College of Art and Design and continued her eduation in the arts. She is currently finishing her last run of classes to earn a B.F.A. with a photography major and printmaking minor.
