Holy crap, three months have gone by. Here's why. 9/29/09

I've come to terms with the fact that a weekly update schedule is not realistic for me. I want to, before I get into this, point out Dresden Codak, a fantastic comic that serves to illustrate my point. Go read it. Right now. I can wait, because you'll be done in five minutes. Aaron Diaz's comics are, in a word gorgeous. In two words, fucking gorgeous. I spoke with him this past weekend at Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Maryland, about how he produces income and maintains his audience when updates so infrequently. He said that it takes an extremely loyal and patient one. It boils down to one thing: if the work is good, they'll keep coming back. I'm not comparing myself to Aaron, but I feel like he has a point I can put to use. The style that I've been using, while simple, is sometimes not-so-easy on the eyes, and it's not really acceptable in terms of how long it takes me between updates. I am, right here and now, going to commit to a similar monthly schedule, and provide content that is rendered with loving detail rather than the simple comics I've been drawing up until now. I spend far too much time and produce so little to show for it. Anyway, I'm still working on the PHP-based site. Moving to that domain will herald the resuming of updates, as well as a new style and format.

Middle of October. Until then, thanks again for your support.
