Armon’s passion for art has led him to create his futuristic art world by synthesizing past inspirations like that of Jean-Michael Basquiat. By channeling Basquiat he has created an intense desire to change the perception of African American men in the art world. This desire inspired him to apply and complete internships with Black Enterprise Magazine, Leo Burnett USA and Draft FCB. Where his style and view of art was challenged and shaped. His current endeavor takes him to his love of vintage design by returning to his hometown to receive his Masters of Fine Arts in Broadcast Design and Motion Graphics from Savannah College of Art & Design. Armon is still extending his metamorphosis of artistic vision by making trips to urban cities such as New York City and Chicago. He states that these trips have only aroused his desire to put the whole world in motion. In NYC, he has gone on train expeditions to Rucker Park and the East Village to view the skilled modern art techniques as well as the avant-garde museums through out the city. These varied influences come together in his work of making the constrained a living animation.  His recent exploration of the cities cultures is the starting point for a current work-in-progress.
