1930s New York. As the morning sun settles upon the city, a Steamer carrying its hopeful passengers coming from all parts of the world docks into the mainland. The Fox Theater, seeking to do its share in welcoming the new citizens, enlists their house Jazz musician, Charlotte, to play for the people as they exit the boat. As her beautiful melodies filter through the air, an Irish fiddler, Shawn Parrick, steps off the boat and is immediately taken by the beauty of the pianist. In the spirit of youthful excitement, and rudely interrupting her concert, Shawn makes his presence known by happily playing an Irish jig, goating her on to playing music with him. If interested in participating in this exciting project please see the contact page for more information. |
