Lieutenant Grendel Erikson II, heavy armor and weapons specialist first class, is very proud of his Dancer heritage, he is not proud of his father however, who was not a Dancer and instead chose to be a sheep farmer.
After his parents died Gren's Grandfather had him placed in an orphanage, because he could not raise young Gren himself. During Grens 16th summer he joined the Dancer Academy after receiving a request from his grandfather's former Captain to do so. Gren admires his own Captain, Travador Bloodlust very much. And is often found behind and slightly to the right of Travador at all times. Not wanting to let Travador down or discrace himself, he is always at the ready and never leaves his many weapon behind.
Gren favors his grandfathers Greatsword but is often known to switch tactics mid fight to throw off his opponent. He at all times carries his grandfathers sword, a dagger, and his two short swords: "The Lion" and "The Hawk". Obsessed with his duty as a Dancer to his fellow people, he prefers to defend others on the battlefield rather than to seek glory elswhere.
